The Good Table at Haili's Hawaiian Foods

The Good Table at Haili's Hawaiian Foods: A fundraiser for Lanakila Pacific.

Backyard Luau! Our New Outdoor Cafe, across from Ward Theaters. Come visit!

Haili's Hawaiian Foods on Cheat Eats. "Plate lunches and wraps start at seven bucks.

"I saw the truck" said Kimo Kahoano. He's been a Haili's customer for decades.
"And I saw the pulehu ribs, luau. So I thought okay I going try that. Then I saw lomi lomi, then had the fish, then had the chicken long rice, then had the poi, then got everything!" "When you come down to the Haili's lunchwagon it's almost like you're out on a picnic. We're under a tent, nice shade..." said Russ. WATCH THE SHOW!

Channeling Martha Stewart... Shawn Nakamoto
The lunch wagon, vibrantly decorated in a tropical theme, is located “under the Hala tree” in the parking lot across form Ward Theaters. They continue to offer their standard plates but have added some additional menu items including wraps and salads. And yes, they still do catering.

I was ono for laulau so I opted for their chicken laulau plate. It comes with laulau (perfectly sized), lomi salmon, poke, haupia and poi or rice (I chose poi, of course). All for $8.50. Quite a deal considering how much food they give. Trust me, I immediately fell into a food coma after inhaling my lunch! >Read More

Haili's in the News...

THE HONOLULU STAR-BULLETIN... Sampling food from Haili's on opening day were Marlene Okubo, left, Pauline Sugino, Nahono Fernandes and his brother, Nunu Fernandes. They're greeted at the window by Connie Zepeda, left, and Milyn Pasamonto. >Read the Honolulu Star-Bulletin story

THE HONOLULU ADVERTISER... Haili’s, founded more than 50 years ago, is an Island institution — a source for Hawaii foods in bulk, as well as for plate lunches.
The new concept is of an “outdoor cafe” — a lunchwagon where you can get a bite before or after a movie. You can choose to pick up food to take away or sit down at one of the four or so tables, set up under the hala tree on a strip of lawn. Rachel Ching Haili, namesake daughter of the founder, and other family members continue to make the dishes they learned from dad Peter Davis Haili.
